Meet Your Hosts

Lisa Nowakowski @NowaTechie

Lisa is a Google Certified Innovator & Education Trainer, and has presented at several Ed Tech focused conferences. She was in the first cohort for Innovative Educators Advanced Studies Certificate and a Leading Edge educator. Most recently, she was named a PBS Digital Innovator. In 2010 Lisa was awarded the Crystal Apple Award sponsored by the local NBC affiliate. She has been an Ed Tech innovator in her district for over 15 years. In 2015 she was named Teacher of the Year at her school. Lisa currently teaches 5th grade at King City Arts Magnet. As a district technology leader, she has brought 1:1 Chromebooks to her classroom with great success. ​

Nancy Minicozzi @CoffeeNancy

Nancy has a Master’s degree in Educational Technology, and she is a Google for Education Certified Innovator and Trainer. She began her educational career as a technology teacher and now works in the Las Virgenes Unified School District, where she collaborates with other teachers to integrate technology into their classrooms. She was in the second cohort of the Innovative Educators Advanced Studies Certificate. She is passionate about helping others innovate their practices and presents regularly at conferences. Nancy is the founder of PLAYDATE Los Angeles and a member of the EdCampLAN and EdCamp Ventura County organizing teams.
